Simón es maestro en artes plásticas de la New York Academy of Art, y diseñador gráfico de la Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín.
Está radicado en Estados Unidos desde el año 2014. Su trabajo artístico explora las ideas en torno a las estructuras del lenguaje, la disociación, la intuición y los malentendidos. Trabaja en medios como la pintura, el dibujo y los materiales impresos.
Su trabajo El libro que tiende a desaparecer fue lanzado en Casa Bosques (CDMX) y luego en Printed Matter (Nueva York), y actualmente se encuentra en una muestra en el Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil (CDMX). Actualmente este trabajo hace parte de las colecciones de instituciones como Mumok (Viena), John M. Flaxman Library SAIC (Chicago) y Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Munich). Además de esto, ha sido exhibido y publicado en el Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín, National Portrait Gallery de Londres, ProxyCo Gallery, backbonebooks, Center For Book Arts de Nueva York, Parent Company Gallery, entre otros lugares.
Ha sido profesor en la New York Academy of Art y Royal Hibernian Academy de Dublín.
Además de su práctica artística, Simón es co-fundador de la plataforma curatorial Miriam en Brooklyn, Nueva York. Miriam es una galería y librería de libros de artista que se interesa por la diseminación y democratización de las prácticas atravesadas por la contemplación, la colaboración y el juego.

Simón holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art and a degree in Graphic Design from the Pontifical Bolivarian University of Medellín.
He has been based in the United States since 2014. His artistic work explores ideas surrounding language structures, dissociation, intuition, and misunderstandings. He works in mediums such as painting, drawing, and printed materials.
His work "The Book That Tends to Disappear" was launched at Casa Bosques (CDMX) and later at Printed Matter (New York), and is currently part of an exhibition at the Carrillo Gil Art Museum (CDMX). Currently, this work is included in collections of institutions such as Mumok (Vienna), John M. Flaxman Library SAIC (Chicago), and Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (Munich). Additionally, he has been exhibited and published at the Museum of Modern Art in Medellín, the National Portrait Gallery in London, ProxyCo Gallery, backbonebooks, Center For Book Arts in New York, Parent Company Gallery, among other places.

In addition to his artistic practice, Simón is a co-founder of the curatorial platform Miriam in Brooklyn, New York. Miriam is a gallery and bookstore specializing in artist books that is interested in the dissemination and democratization of practices influenced by contemplation, collaboration, and play.
